Teenage sensation Alexandra Eala delivered a stunning performance in her historic breakout run at the Miami Open, defeating No. 2 seed Iga Swiatek 6-2, 7-5 to reach her first-ever WTA semifinal. Eala staged an impressive comeback, rallying from a 4-2 deficit in the second set.

WTA Tennis says, "Eala, 19, is the first player from the Philippines to reach a tour-level semifinal, and is now guaranteed to become the first Filipina to be ranked inside the Top 100 of the PIF WTA Rankings next Monday."

Check out her remarkable points in WTA's highlight of the match.

Ranked No. 140, Eala—who has already claimed victories over Jelena Ostapenko and Madison Keys this fortnight—becomes only the second wild card to defeat three or more Grand Slam champions in a single tour-level event.

Well done, Eala! AWSN, the Philippines, and the rest of the world will be cheering you on!
